At Canyon Creek we are devoted to promoting outdoor recreation and wilderness preservation. Our objective is to work with local businesses and guides so that our guests have the best information available to ensure their enjoyment of their trip and activities.
We know how highly you value your vacation and recreation time. Having access to Canyon Creek and our contacts with the local experts will let you spend all of your time enjoying yourself rather than staring at maps and trying to guess where you should go.
By working with us, you will also help to build the base for local businesses invested in protecting the wilderness rather than exploiting it. The Smithers area is a truly unique resource for those of you who, like us, treasure and hope to preserve the last wild places on this planet. There are just not that many areas left where, within a short drive of comfortable base lodging, you can hike in pristine forests and mountains, see abundant wildlife ranging from moose to grizzlies, bike down mountain trails, canoe or kayak whitewater rivers, fish amid healthy populations of salmon and steelhead or other trout, downhill, cross-country or back country ski in spectacular settings or learn the skills necessary to safely venture out into the wilderness on your own.
